Introduction:
This project is named “Fire Alarm Circuit”. This Circuit Project is used to detect Fire in any Place. This Project Made by the UM-66 or BT-66 IC. It is a Simple and Cheap Project that was used for School Projects. For Know More About this Project, Read More.
Connection:
First of all, Take the DOT Board for the Required Size and Fit the UM-66 IC and Solder it in the Center of the Board. Then Put and Solder the BC 547 Transistor on the Right Side to the UM-66 IC. Then Solder the 220Ω Resistor Between the IC’s 1st Pin and Transistor’s 2nd Base Pin. Then Solder the 3rd pin of the IC and 3rd Pin of the Transistor to the (Gnd) –ve of the Power Supply. Then We Should Need to Connect the Output of the Circuit. To connect the 8Ω Speaker’s 1st-Pin to the BC-547 Transistor’s Collector Pin. Then We need one Tube Light Starter, Then Remove the Cap and disconnect the Heating Coil, thus the Sensor was ready. Connect the Starter’s 1st Pin to the +ve of the Power Supply and Connect the Sensor’s 2nd Pin to the UM-66 IC’s 2nd Pin and Speaker’s 2nd Pin. Thus the Circuit Connection Fulfilled. Our Circuit’s Maximum Input Voltage is 3.7V Only.
Note:
This IC is Looks like a Transistor. This IC is a Memory IC, So it is Easily Fault. Then Keep the Input Voltage from 3 Volt to 4 volts. Or Put the 3.3V Zener Diode Across the Input Power Supply to Make the Voltage Constant at 3.3 Volt. BT-66 IC is the Equivalent IC for the UM-66 IC.

Working:
In this Circuit, We Used UM-66 IC and BC-547 Transistor. This UM-66 or BT-66 IC is the Memory-Filled IC. This IC Gives the Output Sound as a Musical Sound. This Musical Sound is Very Low. So We Can Use the BC-547 Transistor as an Amplifier Circuit. This Transistor is Amplify the Sound as High Sound. Then the Tube Light Starter is used as a Sensor. This is working as a Temperature Sensor. When we Heat the Sensor, Then Sensor’s Inside Terminals Get Contacted and Voltage Flowing Across the Sensor to the Circuit. Then the UM-66 IC and BC-547 Transistor are Worked and the Speaker was Alarming the Sound. Thus the Circuit Worked.
