Relay ON/OFF Control Circuit

Introduction:

This Project is Named As “Relay ON/OFF Circuit” using NE-555 Timer IC. This Circuit is used to Control the AC Devices with the Operations of DC Source Buttons. This Circuit is very Simple Circuit to Made. We Control the AC appliances by this Circuit using some Basic Electronic Components. This Circuit is Very Helpful for the Water Service Centers.

Circuit Connection:

We Use the NE-555 Timer IC for this Project. This IC is Very Basic in Electronics. First We Fit and Solder the IC with the IC Base in center on the DOT Board. Then Connect the Input Pins to the Voltage Terminals. Connect the 4th & 8th Pin of IC to the +ve of the Power Supply Terminal. Then Connect the 1st Pin of the IC to the –ve of the Power Supply Terminal. Then we make the Output Part of the Circuit. Connect the 3rd Pin of the IC to the Relay’s 1st Coil Pin and Connect the Relay’s 2nd Coil Pin to the +ve of the Power Supply Terminal. Connect the 1N4007 Diode’s Anode to the 3rd Pin of the IC and Connect the Diode’s Cathode to the +ve of the Power Supply Terminal and Then Connect the LED with Resistor Between the 3rd Pin of the IC & +ve of the Power Supply. This LED is used for Indicating when the Relay was ON. Then Solder the Push Switch’s 1st Pin to the IC’s 6th Pin and Solder the Push Switch’s 2nd Pin to the +ve of the Power Supply. Then connect the 5.1MΩ 1/2W Resistor Between +ve of the Power Supply and 2nd Pin of the IC. Connect the Another Push Switch Between 2nd Pin of the IC and –ve of the Power Supply.

Working Explanation:

The Circuit here is Soft Touch Switch. Soft Touch Mean when the Switch is Once Pressed the Circuit is Turned ON. Similarly, when it is Pressed Again it is Turned OFF. This Control Circuit uses a 12V DC Battery or Power Supply. The NE-555 IC Remain in One State either ON or OFF When the Switch is Pressed Accordingly. Moreover, the Relay Remains Connected with the IC and Receives Signal from NE-555 IC. Similarly, Relay Deactivates only with the Switch Pressed OFF. The Relay Connects this Circuit with the Appliances and other Electronic Circuits to performed the Desire Function.

Note: If you want to use the Load More than 10A, You Can Change the Relay for 25A.
